NEW MEMBERS! 

Cadets are not members of the Canadian Armed Forces, nor are they expected to join the military. While they are introduced to Sea, Army and/or Air activities of the Canadian Armed Forces and certain traditions, they are also introduced to many other respectable career choices that are available to them.

Plan on joining? Our program has no registration costs. We do community fundraising activities to enhance the basic program funding by the Defence Department. We expect that cadets and their families assist in these events.

Potential Cadet applicants should come to the Belleville Armouries on Monday evenings, between 6:30 pm to 9 pm, September thru May and bring the following:

• Be at least 12 years of age but not older than 19 (Proof of age must consist of one of the following)
  • a valid Canadian passport
  • a birth certificate issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal government agency
  • any card, visa or permit (work, study, resident, etc.) (with photo) issued by the Canadian government which legally authorizes the person to reside in Canada for an extended period of time, or
  • any identification card (with or without photo) issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal government agency. No certificates of live birth please.
• Proof of health insurance: Provincial or Territorial health insurance card.
• Proof of private insurance (if applicable)
